Moving Forward, Giving Back

If you'd like Range Resources to consider making a contribution to your nonprofit organization, please submit a proposal using the guidelines below.

 

Proposal Guidelines

Proposals should not be longer than two typewritten pages, cannot be accepted by phone and must contain the following information:

  1. Brief description of the organization, its purpose and the communities it serves
  2. Description of the project, grant amount requested and timing
  3. Explanation of the issue and/or opportunity the proposed project addresses
  4. How this project fits within Range Resources funding priorities:
    • Education (i.e., Trade and Vo-tech Schools, 4-H programs, etc.)
    • Community Services/Events (i.e., VFD, Food Banks, County Fairs, etc.)
  5. Anticipated outcomes of the project and measurements for success
  6. Provide W-9 Tax Form
In addition, proposals should be accompanied by the following:
  • Contact name, address, phone number and organization's Web address
  • Project plan and schedule, including projected budget
  • List of key organizational leadership and board of directors
  • IRS certification of 501(c)3 or other tax-exempt status
  • K-12 institution accreditation certification, if applicable
  • Board-approved organization budget for the current year

Please allow 60 days for notification regarding the status of your proposal.

Note: Priority will be given to organizations submitting proposals to fund services within Range Resources funding priorities. Applications for funding outside those areas will be considered on occasion, as appropriate and feasible.

 

Range Resources generally does not fund:

  • Individuals or families
  • Fraternal organizations or related events and fundraisers
  • Organizations outside the company's service areas
  • Profit-making entities
  • Political candidates or organizations
  • Door prizes or raffles
  • Group or individual travel expenses
  • Non-profit or school-sponsored walk-a-thons, athletic events and/or athletic group sponsorships
  • School-affiliated orchestras, bands, choirs, trips, athletic teams, drama groups, yearbook and/or class parties
